SATURDAYS AT THE MILL MUSEUM

All regular programming is temporarily suspended until we are prepared for the return of our regular guests.

We hope to resume by Fall.

FIRST SATURDAY

10-4

TEA & CRUMPETS

Drop in between 10 and 4 and relax with sweet tea, crumpets and conversation.  On the house. Bring a book or some knitting.   

Join us, we’d love to see you.

SECOND SATURDAY

2-4:30

KIDS CLUB

Crafts designed for school-aged children from age 5 to 12. Younger children are welcome to participate with parents present. Non-members asked for a small fee for supplies.  Planned by Bev York, the Museum’s Director of Education.

THIRD SATURDAY

4-5:30

MUSEUM LYCEUM

Explore a new topic of historical interest every month with one of our museum scholars.  See photos and artifacts from the Museum and some personal collactions.  Our Calendar page will announce the topic each month.

FOURTH SATURDAY

10-1

SPINNNG BEE

Grab your spinning wheel, knitting, embroidery or any textile project and drop by for this get together. Those with various skills will share tips and chat.  This program is  organized by professional weaver Peggy Church.

MILL OF THE MONTH

Each month we visit and learn about area mills and historic manufacturing sites.  Some may be just around the corner.   Some may be to Boston or New York City. We car pool or rent a bus.  But they’re all worth the trip.
