LEARNING AT THE MILL MUSEUM
The Mill Museum is a place of learning, reflection, engagement, and education. There are educational programs and activities for people of all ages, for individuals, groups, researchers, schoolchildren, professional educators, and university interns.
- SCHOOL FIELD TRIPS
- MUSEUM LYCEUMS. The Mill Museum frequently invites guest speakers to make presentations on different historical topics. These “Museum Lyceums” are intended primarily for adult audiences and usually are held in Dugan Hall, the Museum’s classroom/lecture hall/activity room. Check Events to see what is scheduled. Some previous Museum Lyceums have been preserved as podcasts or videos and can be accessed here.
- WALKING TOURS. Three or four times a year, the Museum leads historic walking tours. Check Events to see what is scheduled.
- THIS HOUSE CAN TALK. A self-guided audio walking tour of some of Willlimantic, Connecticut’s Most Historic Buildings.
