OUR VISION

In order to realize our Mission, the museum envisions five broad comprehensive objectives:

1. MUSEUM AS A COMMUNITY ASSET:  Spotlight the unique role the museum plays preserving, interpreting and sharing stories of people brought together in the community – past and present.

2. FINANCIAL VIABILITY:  Ensure museum financial viability – the museum must insure sufficient funds for operations and long term survival.

3. PATRON ENGAGEMENT: Increase patron engagement with historic and contemporary material – the museum must continue to collect, preserve and share, the stuff of relevant history with patrons.

4. MUSEUM MANAGEMENT: Employ staff and recruit board members who value the role and mission of the museum. 

5. BOARD ACTIVITY:  Develop Board of Directors as stewards of the museum.
