Hours and Admission

The museum is open from the first weekend in April through the second week in December on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 10 AM through 4 PM. For updates on closings due to holidays or other factors follow us on Facebook or check the announcements on our front page.

Most visitors spend from 1 to 3 hours in the museum. Please try to arrive at or before 3:00pm to allow adequate time for your visit.

Repeating events such as the monthly spinning bee generally occur all year long independently of the museum’s open hours.

The museum is also open for special events, performances, “Nights at the Museum”, and school visits at other times, including during our winter closure. Check our events calendar for updates.
